Dear Mr. Gerard, Allow me to explain. Mr. Kendells is the Brat Pack's current "road manager/stage manager" (that's polite for "drink bitch.") In his experience, bass players call the shots, command respect, sometimes get extra pay just for being so kick-ass, and are almost never expected to carry the lead singer's costumes. Mr. Kendells is from a different generation, where musicians are referred to as "people" and are even sometimes greeted with eye contact. I know this must be a shock for you, but I assure you it is real.
